Judging Panel
The judging panel is selected to give an impartial, professional and wide-ranging level of expertise and is assembled exclusively from leading organisations and top business school academics that have a direct involvement in the supply chain and logistics industries.
The awards are judged on a 1,500 to 3,000 word entry submission and supporting evidence. The following judging criteria is applied:

As chief strategy officer for AMR Research, Kevin O’Marah brings a unique blend of intellectual prowess, practical business experience, and energy to AMR Research’s clients. During his nearly seven years with the firm, Kevin has worked with hundreds of companies on manufacturing, product lifecycle management (PLM), and supply chain strategy. Kevin launched AMR Research’s PLM practice, and is a seminal author on PLM, having been included in over 100 articles defining the application's footprint, business impact, and market dynamics. He has also contributed to the firm’s definition and coverage of demand-driven supply networks (DDSN), having authored several reports, including the AMR Research Supply Chain Top 25, defining the link to business operating metrics. He was named an AMR Research Fellow in 2002.

Andrew Bartolini is a supply management professional with rich experience in strategic sourcing, business process transformation, and software implementation. He has managed the design and implementation of strategic sourcing and procurement processes for companies across a wide range of industries and has directed strategic sourcing projects exceeding US$500 million in total value. His recent focus has been in identifying and leveraging world-class technologies to achieve operational excellence within the procurement and finance functions of the Fortune 500 companies. He has held leadership roles in sales, marketing and services at Ariba and Commerce One. His background also includes extensive transactional and analytical experience while working in management consulting and investment banking. He has been named a “Pro to Know” by Supply and Demand Chain Executive. Bartolini’s role at Aberdeen is to contribute and provide oversight for all Global Supply Management research efforts.

Dr Shoumen Palit Austin Datta is a research scientist in Engineering Systems Division and Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at the School of Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He is the Co-founder and Research Director of the MIT Forum for Supply Chain Innovation, a global consortium of industry, governments, organizations and academia. He is a past-member of the Technology Board of Auto ID Center, MIT. Shoumen is interested to explore convergence of innovative concepts, tools, technologies and standards which may shape the evolution of interoperable near-intelligent decision systems in fields as diverse as healthcare, security and business operations.

Prior to her current appointment, she was Director Chemicals Cluster, which looked at the development of Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals and Specialties. From 1998 –2000, she was based in London as Regional Director, Europe and ran the EDB’s European operations with offices in 5 countries, focusing on investment marketing for Singapore. Prior to this, she was Regional Director, Central US, based in Chicago. Her geographical area of responsibility included 15 states from the mid-west to south central. Before joining the EDB, Ms Aw worked in the Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research.
Paul Stuart

Mr. Stuart has 16 years experience in the Pharmaceutical R&D industry and within Supply Chain management, he spent three years establishing and leading a consolidated supply chain organization within WWPS that was dedicated to support of the Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals (PGP) Division. The organization included disciplines of supply chain coordination, drug product manufacturing, packaging, analytical testing, regulatory, and distribution. The department was responsible for meeting the clinical supply needs of all Phase IIIB and Phase IV conducted globally by Pfizer, Inc. Currently Vice President of the Clinical Supply Manufacturing & Packaging workstream within the WWPS Supply Chain, the workstream is responsible for all drug product manufacturing, inventory management, import-export, and distribution activities for the Clinical Supply Chain. The group operates internal facilities at the Ann Arbor, MI, Groton, CT, and Sandwich, UK sites, as well as managing a global network of external service providers. The global workstream supports clinical supply needs for the entire Pfizer development portfolio.
